Young-goon believes she’s a cyborg and is sent to a psychiatric ward. While there she meets Il-soon, a thief who is afraid of vanishing into a dot. Park Chan-wook’s absurdist, rom-com follow up to his vengeance trilogy is full of life, love, colour, and is a compassionate/passionate portrayal of mental illness.

Image description: Young-goon and Il-soon sit on a grassy hill, resting against eachother. Young-goon, the woman on the left, has shaggy black hair, and is wearing a beige dress. Il-soon, on the right, has short brown hair, two strands of which are sticking up in little curls, and is wearing a beige jacket and trousers. He’s holding an open metal round case, and speaking into a plastic cup with a string coming out of the end, leading to another plastic cup that Young-goon is holding to her ear.
